Vitamin E - Naturally!

This is one of the fat soluble vitamins, the others in this category are Vitamin A, Vitamin D and Vitamin K (they ae all stored in the body when not in use). 

It is extremely rare to have a deficiency, and also not a vitamin you want to overdue, so careful with the isolated supplements especially on this one.

Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant and is considered "anti-aging" though of course this is a misnomer really as aging is a natural process!  It protects your immune and circulatory system. Additionally it keeps your skin healthy, your hair in good condition, and supports eye health (but it needs adequate vitamin C for this latter to be effective).

For the hormonal system, it helps to maintain balance.  So pack in the right foods if you are suffering any sort of PMS. perimenopause, or full menopausal symptoms.  We have a FREE food plan you can order to help you balance your hormones, it is amazing how much you can do naturally with food, and this has helped so many ladies. 


Foods for Vitamin E

This is quite an easy vitamin to achieve with foods you can nibble on, and add to other meals.  Sunflower seeds and almonds are really good, as are hazelnuts.

Tomatoes are excellent, so do add these to your salads as much as you can. 

It is no suprise to know that Awesome Avocados are excellent for vitamin E, one of our favourite foods for wellbeing, eat these every day if you can. 

Similarly, the leafy green vegetables we are always trying to inspire you to eat are great for Vitamin E as well as calcium and magnesium, so pack those in and get creative with your greens, there is so much you can do. Chard, turnip greens, brocolli and spinach are the favourites here.

And for an occasional piece of fruit, kiwis and mango are lovely for Vitamin E. One or two pieces of fruit a day is a maximum, rememember sugar is sugar even when natural! Focus on vegetables not fruit, especially in your green smoothies.
