Water Filter - MPB10 - Whole House

**This whole house unit is for gravity-fed systems which will typically feature a storage tank in the loft, that feeds your home's hot water cylinder - usually located on a floor below. If you have a mains (high pressure), or combi boiler, you need the MPB20.

The benefits of clean, filtered water go beyond your glass. So, whilst it's good to know the water you drink is perfectly pure, the quality of the water you use for bathing, showering and washing is just as important.

Whole House Filters are fitted onto the mains water supply so that every source of water in your house is filtered. Most people can happily fit themselves, although some customers prefer to call in a plumber

The MPB20K Oasis Whole House Filter has two filter cartridges - a pre-filter and a 'Topaz' carbon block cartridge. Together, these remove sediment, chlorine and chemicals. Freshwater's 'Oasis' Whole House Filters are designed to be plumbed into where the mains supply of water comes into your house. The MPB10K is ideal for a 3-4 person household.

Topaz carbon cartridges are recommended for use when chemical, rather than bacterial, contamination is a concern. Topaz cartridges will remove chlorine, trihalomethane, pesticides, herbicides, PAHs (polyaromatic hydrocarbons - oil based chemicals, dry cleaning solvents, tetrahydrochloride), phenols, parasites and many other chemicals in both particle and dissolved forms.

If harmful bacteria, parasites and cysts are a concern, we recommend that an undersink or point of use filter, such as ther MP1K is used in conjunction with your Oasis unit to ensure the removal of bacteria from drinking water.

1 Micron pre-filter removes turbidity, sediment, dust, rust and dirt - prolonging the life of the unit's other filter cartridge

Pre-filters should be changed every six months

Carbon block cartridges should be changed every year
